As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth of your assigned brands in your market by leading the design and execution of the brand marketing strategy in line with country commercial strategy and relevant export markets. Your main assigned brand is going to be Scholl.  As a member of the marketing team, you will be accountable and the owner of delivering successful results regarding the role’s relevant marketing mix.

 

Summary of Responsibilities

 

  • Determine together with the Category Manager the strategic direction of the managed brands.
  • Manage brand marketing activities to reach the annual brand objectives.
  • Analyze consumer research, draw conclusions and indicate actions accordingly
  • P/L management and budget control
  • Monitor activities of key competitors
  • Manage the relationship with advertising agencies and other appropriate partners
  • Responsible for the achievement of financial and market share targets for a brand in the market.
  • Work across functions including supply, sales, trade, and finance to develop and execute successful commercial plans to deliver financially and share plans and targets
  • Manage initiatives’ development and activation of any local brands in the portfolio including the development of new products (NPDs), consumer and shopper communications
  • Generate and propose business development initiatives (BDIs) for the brand based on consumer, shopper and market understanding.
  • Support the Trade marketing team as required in the design and implementation of the store-format activation plans or optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy
  • Support the Sales team in creating customer presentations and meeting customer requirements supporting them in delivering product training

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Educated at min to Bachelor degree preferably in Marketing or Business Management
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience preferably in FMCG/pharma
  • 1-2 years of experience in an equivalent role
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with high partnership/collaboration abilities
  • Fluency in English
  • Results-oriented, entrepreneurial and self- motivating
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Flexible in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills     
  • Great communicator
