Senior Brand Manager

This position is responsible for the development of assigned brand(s) through the achievement of specific growth objectives and marketing execution.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the development of category strategies and development of local brand plans and future growth foundations
  • To manage the brand(s) within the context of the agreed strategies to maximize short- & long-term sales and profitability
  • To develop, recommend, lead and execute local marketing plans - including local media strategy - for assigned brand(s) and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget
  • To develop product development (NPD/EPD) projects in coordination with global departments and ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within the scope
  • To initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as to the basis for long term brand growth
  • To lead the development of local copy strategy/executions and/or to ensure adaptation possible for other regions
  • In close co-operation with the Sales function and Customer Trade. Identify trade needs/opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands
  • To effectively work with and influence key stakeholders including media, CMI, Finance, Sales, Trade and supply teams
  • Full P&L accountability
  • Educated to minimum master’s degree level (business-related subjects would serve as an advantage)

 

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of marketing experience, must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills and potential, developed within an FMCG environment.

  • The business language in RB is English, therefore fluency in English is essential. Fluency in another language (s) is advantageous.
