As a Maintenance Tech II (Weekend AM), you'll provide multi-skilled technical leadership that will maintain, troubleshoot, repair and replace facility and operations equipment, components and systems. Will be primarily responsible for programming & troubleshooting PLC’s.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment; on high speed packaging equipment preferred.
  • Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree in the mechanical and/or electrical disciplines preferred. 
  • Electrical certification preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of preventative maintenance techniques and have the ability to develop and work PM crew to improve preventive maintenance programs from vendor manuals.
  • Strong mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, or reliability maintenance background is desired Welding and Machining is a plus.
  • Must have PLC programming experience and troubleshooting capabilities. 
  • Consistently meets and occasionally exceeds production goals in a safe manner that emphasizes quality to our customers. 
  • Application and facilitation of continuous improvement tools, TPM, 5S, FMEA, etc.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides electrical expertise primarily to the Aerosol and Liquid Packaging Operations and all other departments as requested including troubleshooting and repair to maximize run time.
  • Demonstrated ability to program and/or troubleshoot PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers).
  • Orders electrical/electronic parts and equipment for all departments.
  • Provides Packaging technical support to all Packaging departments as needed including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, changeover and repair of packaging line equipment.
  • Will have responsibility for the entire department on his/her assigned shift.
