Commercial Finance Manager – North Africa

To provide financial analysis and decision making support primarily to Category team, Marketing Director & Commercial Finance Director to ensure the Category/ brands deliver on their key financial performance objectives (typically – NR, GM, COP). The role works extensively with the multi-functional Category teams (Power of One teams) to lead & influence a broad range of financial & business decisions. Functional solid line reporting is to the Commercial Finance Director with the Category team leader (ie, Marketing Manager) being a key stakeholder.

Main Responsabilities

The role has 3 main components:

  1. Financial planning, forecasting & reporting
  2. Marketing business partnering.
  3. Gross Margin improvement through support in Distributor P&L management under Cost-plus Model & projects
Deliverables
  1. Ensure monitoring and effective operation of Commercial KPIs / Month End / FC / Marketing Spends Regional CFCs / Stocks levels & ageing DB and CFA audit
  2. Suggest and implement ROI improvement in Trade and Marketing initiatives.
  3. Conduct Pre and Post evaluation of Consumer and Trade Promos.
  4. Track NPD projects and update senior management about the key variances
  5. Ensure coordination with internal and external Audit for commercial function
  6. Submit timely and accurate reports to the  senior management 
  7. Coordinate with Global CHQ and other Regions for submission of monthly reports 
  8. Assist Business Review, FC & Plan Presentation & decks
  9. GMVA reporting
