Cell Associate - Line Feeder

Reporting into the Liquids Shift Leader, this role involves supporting the running of the Liquids Production function, where high quality products are manufactured, packaged and despatched for delivery in accordance with customer service requirements. 


It involves working in, and being responsible for ensuring, a safe working manufacturing environment. Protective clothing policies, health and safety and hygiene procedures need to be followed. 


This role requires the ability to work in a fast-moving Production/Logistics environment as part of a team that takes responsibility for achieving targets.

Scope of Role


  • Delivery against all Safety SOPS, policies and procedures
  • Delivery against all Quality SOPS, policies and procedures
  • Working to standard and best practice ways of working.
  • Participate in team problem solving activities and other non-standard activities
  • Building key relationships as appropriate (e.g. Production Shift Leader, Technical Cell Associates, Man Techs, Bottle Movers)


  • Delivering components to Production lines in a timely fashion so that production is not adversely affected.
  • Supporting the Blow Moulding function by delivering empty storage boxes and pallets so that production is not adversely effected
  • Acting over non-conformance of products and reporting faults to equipment e.g. Fork Lift Trucks
  • Ensuring adherence to housekeeping and hygiene standards within the work area
  • Adhering to site Health and Safety regulations and ensuring H&S procedures are followed to the required standard
  • Adhering to site Quality Management System and ensuring the Quality policies and procedures are followed to the required standard relevant to role and work area.
  • Participating in audits (carried out by internal auditors and external auditors)
  • Working in or supporting other areas within Logistics as required by the needs of the business
Skills & Qualities


  • Experience of working within a Logistics role within a high speed FMCG production environment
  • Must hold a counterbalance Fork Lift Truck licence with FLT experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Ability to plan and prioritise
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Achievement focused
  • Ability to manage multiple activities
