To proactively manage the Group Procurement and Supply Chain , the relevant sites and Vendors in the procurement of finished goods, materials, components and services. Through the Group Procurement Network function, undertake sourcing, supplier management, NPD activity and the identification and execution of savings opportunities as directed by the Business.




  • To procure and supply finished goods, raw materials and components in line with forecast and budgetary demand for the different Categories as directed by the relevant Category Supply Director.
  • Propose and execute sourcing strategies for Supply sources
  • Propose and execute supply chain strategies for Supply sources
  • To collate and prepare contracts in line with the requirements for allocated sites, or projects
  • To ensure the supply arrangements are properly briefed and set up with local Supply Coordinators, markets and Group teams
  • Pro-actively identify and execute cost savings opportunities in line with Strategy.
  • Pro-actively identify New Product Development (NPD) opportunities through Vendors, Trade Fairs and other mechanisms, as well as support the Category teams and markets in NPD activities

Long Description

  • In association with Group Procurement Network and other Category Supply Teams, develop and execute Procurement strategy as required for Global sourcing.
  • Prepare and manage all tenders for materials and equipment as directed and recommend supplier selection.
  • Manage suppliers in line with KPI’s and Service Level Agreements
  • Contribute and/or lead, as guided by the Category Directors, Procurement, NPD projects and process and supply chain improvements.
  • To operate within RB International’s Policies and Procedures, and ISO guidelines, identifying and implementing areas of best practice as appropriate



  • Graduate level with good numeracy, financial and verbal reasoning.
  • Knowledge and experience of best practice procurement in Consumer and Healthcare
  • Experience of sourcing trends and markets for commodities.
  • Experience of consumer finished goods, printed packaging and capital goods for manufacturing and non-manufacturing use.



  • Proven Track Record in delivering tangible results
  • Proven communication, negotiation skills, initiative and management skills in a Global Environment
  • Proven Track record in Change Management
  • Able to travel frequently.
