Commercial Finance Manager & Transformation Lead - Ireland

Reckitt Benckiser are looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Manager for its ireland commercial business, who will initially act as the Commercial Finance SAP Transformation Lead for Ireland during our UK & Ireland deployment of SAP in 2020. This role will then transition in to the business as a senior Commercial Finance partner role, reporting in to the Head of Finance for Ireland and working closely with the sales and marketing teams.

The Commercial Finance SAP Transformation Lead Ireland is responsible for ensuring the alignment between the global SAP template and local business ways of working and roles in their part of the business. 

They are also the first resource that will be called on to deliver education and training, and they will retain their role as trainers and as first line support at and after go-live.

The role holder represents the  Ireland commercial business in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and will play a key consultation role for the Data Cleansing team within the data migration stream. They will also play a key role in the adaptation of global SOPs to local needs.

Regular travel to Reckitt Benckiser UK (Slough) will be required for training and co-ordination with the UK based project and deployment teams. 

Post implementation, the post holder will become Commercial Finance Business Partner, providing financial support to the Country Manager, Head of Sales, National Account Managers, Head of Marketing and Marketing Maagers, influencing behaviours and performance through insights and visibility of key drivers. 

 

You’ll succeed because you…

  • Have a good understanding of sales processes and key finance and sales policies
  • Have knowledge of trade spend systems, pricing procedures, promotion management, field management, master data, P&L management and reporting, Customer P&L and Brand P&L
  • Have a strong understanding of key controls needed to trade spend, media spend, ROI & key finance reports on Net Revenue & Gross Margin reporting, secondary sales reporting tools and interfaces
  • Propose User Acceptance Test scenarios based on standard processes and 'must have' current processes, document and execute tests in a validated SAP environment
  • Be reponsible for monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting and annual planning
  • Be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Have significant commercial finance and business partnering experience with Sales, Marketing or Supply finance, idelaly in FMCG or a similar sector
  • Have an analytical approach, which a high learning agility
  • Need a high proficiency in tools and systems (Microsoft Excel, reporting systems etc.).
