Factory Director, Evansville

Duties

  • Developing and establishing plant goals/objectives in support of the RB IFCN North America Business Strategy
  • Delegate functional responsibility to each department manager to establish and attain goals/objectives
  • Develop long range plans related to cost reductions, facility improvements, new product production, succession planning, equipment upgrades and quality improvements
  • Analyze and audit data from departments relative to the site's performance.  Counsel department managers on the course of action to improve performance and correct deficiencies
  • Recommend and submit the overall fixed, operational and capital budgets for the site and administer the approved budget including capital expense requests
  • Ensure conformance to and support of the RB Quality Strategy.  Ensure effective implementation of the Evansville Quality Systems
  • Develop short and long range plans to ensure the successful operation of the site.  Regularly evaluate and report results to Director of Manufacturing
  • Ensure that all physical assets of the site are effectively protected and maintained
  • Ensure effective communication with: North American Commercial Groups, Global Category Teams, Global Teams, other North American Supply functions
  • Ensure that RB’s Vision, Values, & Goals are communicated, supported and accomplished
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulations (i.e. EEO, FDA, OSHA, etc.)
  • In conjunction with HR, ensure the establishment and implementation of an effective HR planning and review process
     
    Qualifications
  • A BS Degree in an Engineering/Business discipline
  • 7-10 years managerial experience in several areas of manufacturing and logistics
  • Experience in project management and leadership
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership time management and team building skills
  • Ability to influence, drive change and understand the impact of supply decisions on profitability
