Principal Process Engineer, R&D

Long Description
  1. Lead in the implementation of Global capital projects and/or workstreams for the organization, from the conceptualization stage to turnover to the Regions ensuring adherence to all company technical/standards, timetables, approved budgets and optimum personnel utilization.
  2. Directly manage other Engineers on the Team (up to 5).  Responsible for managing: 
    1. Team members yearly objectives / Personal feedback
    2. Assignment of projects to Team members
    3. Coaching / feedback on Engineering projects to Team members
  3. Provide technical assistance to other departments and divisions for Process development, system audits, and product commercialization.
  4. Collaborate with the Regional Process Engineers in preparation of Process Specification.
  5. Prepare and review technical documents necessary for the above responsibilities.
Long Description
  1. B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical or Food Process Engineering or related fields such as Food Science and Technology, Biosytems Engineering.
  2. Candidate must have proficiency in Process Engineering, reaction kinetics and modeling, equipment design, thermodynamics, and process optimization.
  3. Candidate should have experience in technical writing, Process and Quality Assurance Documentation, and Technical Presentations.
  4. Proficiency in Computer software – Autocad, Minitab, Microsoft Office and other useful work tools in the accomplishment of tasks.
  5. Experience with spray drying of dairy products is strongly preferred.
