Process Engineer

  • Develop Manufacturing Batch Records and coordinate with planning SKU’s schedule
  • Manage addenda and coordination with planning
  • Provide production processing support related to manufacturing and equipment cleaning
  • Actively work to optimize processes for quality, efficiency, productivity, and works closely with automation and operations to monitor process parameters
  • Collaborate workflow with PD & Regulatory
  • Contributs to resolution of product processing problems using structured problem resolution and effectively communicating (written and verbal) technical recommendations
  • Provide input into deviation investigations
  • Demonstrate computational skills and basic algebra application in material balances and process scale-up calculations for the preparation and verification of production manufacturing instructions
  • Provide input into corrective actions for audits & follow ups
  • Provide input to automation and engineering on processes/products
  • Applie basic understanding of equipment operation, software control, product formulations and raw material ingredient functionality for product and processing support of nutritional production operations
  • Utilize software tools for information, problem solving, and continuous improvement
  • Drive process change with the initiation of change control
  • Develop qualification/testing protocols, manages documentation and verification analysis
  • Promote the importance of adherence to GMP, FDA, and local regulatory requirements
  • Administer the PRODCALC database and supports MBR alignment
  • Support OEE process
  • Facilitate the development of production operators process knowledge and understanding of quality


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in chemistry, engineering, industrial hygiene or a closely related scientific field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a highly regulated industry including facility based operating experience is preferred
  • Assisted with execution of technical projects in a plant or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in collecting and transforming data into usable information
  • Experience with written and oral communication including technical information
  • Experience in handling multiple projects at one time
  • Experience operating processing equipment in a plant or manufacturing environment
