Product Information Specialist (Dietitian), Product Information & Compliance

  • Communicates verbally and in written form with healthcare professionals, MJN sales representatives, consumers, and other customers to provide product information, investigate and document customer concerns, and relay additional analysis of concerns.
  • In all activities, gives voice to Mead Johnson’s vision and commitment in a clear, knowledgeable, and reassuring manner.  Possesses excellent judgment and the ability to remain composed in stressful or difficult situations.  Excellent and perceptive listening skills.
  • Provides Nutrition Practice consultation when requested for promotional materials in accordance with the LEX (labeling excellence) process and procedures.
  • Serves as proxy for Medical Affairs in Label Review Committee in accordance with the LEX (labeling excellence) process and procedures.
  • Stays abreast of, interprets, and communicates Nutrition Practice guidelines and recommendations to the Business and R&D disciplines and applies these changes as necessary.
  • Establishes and maintains communication channels and constructive rapport with key partners in R&D and other areas of the Business to streamline and maximize information and documentation flow.
  • Understands and communicates US FDA regulations and procedures for MJ products, especially Infant Formula, and how regulations may impact work assignments.
  • Authors or updates Product Information & Compliance standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Manages Product Information & Compliance-related projects to assure department objectives are met.
  • Supports dietetic association activities related to US-manufactured products.


Experiences Desired

  • 5-10 years of clinical pediatric experience or related experience preferred.
