QA Investigation Specialist - Powder

Duties: 
•    Quality support for Powder: BIBBIT and Premix 
•    Facilitate release of products, QA investigations, closure of associated non-conformities, and assessment of change control proposals for assigned production work streams.
•    Assist other QA specialists in investigation and closure of non-conformities.
•    Lead and facilitate QA Continuous improvement programs.
•    Provide QA functional tasks to support innovation and non-innovation projects
•    Develop QA background to oversee GMP processes and release of ESC products 
•    Provide reports and metrics pertaining to quality functions 
•    Develop knowledge of QC testing programs and capabilities
•    Develop knowledge of MJN quality principles and quality systems
•    Provide 24 hr call support as needed

 

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline (science/ engineering/ food processing, etc ) or equivalent experience 
•    Candidate should have general knowledge of manufacturing processes and be able to engage with personnel to secure information for resolution of quality issues.
•    Candidate to become proficient with Optiva Non Conformity system
•    Candidate should have a beginning concept of HACCP/ Food Safety principles.
•    Candidate should have general GMP and understanding of microbiological impact to infant powder 
•    Detail oriented, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment.
•    Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. 
•    Become proficient in MJN laboratory management system (GLIMS)
•    General knowledge of Quality tools (control charts, sampling plans, capability assessments) 
•    Ability to work well with cross functional groups and with little oversight
•    Effective skills with Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
