Sr. Product Development Associate

Summary
  • Partnering cross-functionally and cross-regionally to deliver commercially viable nutritional products for infants that fulfil nutritional, regulatory, and consumer requirements and expectations.
  • High levels of independence and leadership.  It includes prioritizing and planning execution and evaluation of experiments from bench-top, pilot trial, plant trial, and through to commercialization.
  • Decision-making and issuing technical recommendations with incomplete data and uncertain scope in a fast-paced culture with demanding customers and challenging timelines.
  • Product Development representative on innovation project teams and sometimes the R&D Lead owning the development process and results.
  • Interpret, communicate, and leverage experimental data to support the development and implementation of robust formulations
Description

REQUIRED

  • Master or Doctoral Science Degree (Food/Nutritional Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or other relevant science preferred).  Bachelor’s degree with significant directly related work experience are also considered.
  • >5 years relevant experience in food industry
  • Previous experience managing/leading people
  • Working knowledge of protein, fat, carbohydrate, additive functionality, flavors and their interactions in retorted liquids, aseptically processed liquids, and powders.
  • Service-oriented with talents and demonstrated proficiency in delivery of product launches with new technology and ingredient applications.
