Tech Center Logistics Associate

Long Description
  • Weighing and staging batches for trialing production at the Technology Center
  • Receiving, warehousing, logistics, weigh rooms, dispensing and staging operations for Tech Center
  • Effectively work with SAP including GR & GI to stage material and inventory in/out of the warehouse.
  • Ability to understand dry cleaning, CIP and COP cleaning systems per standard operation procedures
  • Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, pallet movers, and fork lifts.
  • Completes with minimal supervision, staging, preparation and processing of clinical, consumer test supply, experimental products adhering to manufacturing batch records and protocols.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and precision in conducting experiments, recording data and reporting
  • Interact and communicate effectively with technicians, scientists, and engineers, and management to maximize efficiency and service
  • Adhere to best practices in GMP, EHS, FDA and other regulatory requirements in the production of product for human consumption.
  • Complete assigned tasks, contributes to multiple projects, and participate in cross-functional project teams to develop and deliver innovation, troubleshooting and/or process optimization.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree preferred, with at least 1 year of experience in logistics and preparation of batch materials for downstream production or Technical Associate Degree
  • Ability to use software tools Excel, Word, and MJN procedures is required
  • Effectively communicate information both written, and verbally to R&D and pilot plant customers is required
  • Experience with working in a pilot or manufacturing plant environment is preferred
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic environment where a high degree of teamwork, and collaboration are required
