Senior Product Manager

Summary

Responsible for managing and co-ordinating the business activities relative to assigned product in order to attain short and long-term product sales and profit objectives.

 

Responsibilities

1. Develop and recommend to supervisor and Annual Marketing Plan for assigned product plan to include both strategic and tactical consideration.

2. Implement the approved Annual Marketing Plan co-ordinating the packaging, advertising, promotion, pricing, distribution, sales, and public relations activities with appropriate personnel.

3. Request and utilise marketing research information and advise supervisor of potential problems/opportunities which exist relative to implementation and execution of product marketing plan.

4. Create and recommend for approval new promotional and advertising approaches to aid in product development.

5. Initiate strategies and provide direction for sales and sales training personnel the implementation of sales promotions required for attainment of marketing objectives established in the Annual Plan.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and above, majored in business or marketing
  • MBA is preferred.

Experience:

  • 7-8 years’ experience in “product manager” with proven business building results.
  • Successful new brand and new product development experience is needed.
