Senior Product Manager


Responsible for managing and co-ordinating the business activities relative to assigned product in order to attain short and long-term product sales and profit objectives.


Business Management Activities:

1. Develop and recommend to supervisor and Annual Marketing Plan for assigned product plan to include both strategic and tactical consideration.

2. Implement the approved Annual Marketing Plan co-ordinating the packaging, advertising, promotion, pricing, distribution, sales, and public relations activities with appropriate personnel.

3. Request and utilise marketing research information and advise supervisor of potential problems/opportunities which exist relative to implementation and execution of product marketing plan.

4. Create and recommend for approval new promotional and advertising approaches to aid in product development.

5. Initiate strategies and provide direction for sales and sales training personnel the implementation of sales promotions required for attainment of marketing objectives established in the Annual Plan.

6. Administer monthly product expenditures (work within budget).

7. Analyse product profile structure and pricing policies recommending, as appropriate adjustments required to meet objectives established in annual and long-ranged plan.

8. Project on monthly basis product sales and co-ordinate with inventory manager to assure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.

  • Proven successful experience in the annual marketing plan development, new product launch.
  • Proven successful experience in marketing skills such as Advertising skills, packaging skills, consumer promotions skills, financial skills, trade promotion skills, market research skill.
  • Proven knowledge in digital marketing.
  • Must be an independent self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and an affinity for producing high quality, creative work.
  • 7-8 years’ experience in “product manager” with proven business building results.
  • Successful new brand and new product development experience is needed.
