The CKAM (Institutions) is responsible for new business development primarily through Government e-marketplace (GeM) channel and ensure generation of repeat business from new accounts, with the end responsibility for budgeted Hygiene business volume and value.

Scope and Dimension of the Role:

•    Will be responsible for Key account creation and retention
•    Appoint and manage GeM dedicated distributors and ensuring that distributor achieves targets hence region targets are met
•    Major focus would be end customers across GeM segments – creation and retention
•    Travel as per requirement across the regions to meet desired results
•    Develop customers & distributor network in Tier 2 cities of these regions
•    Understand and adapt to the technological and operational changing requirements of GeM channel
•    Cross functional co-ordination especially with Marketing and R&D for optimal and faster response
•    Manage extensive distribution network for the GeM channel and related queries

Role Description:

Major Action: End user and Channel Partner Activity
•    Developing end-user accounts to maximise their potential 
•    To be intimately familiar with all features, benefits and applications for RB Products as well as our competitors
•    To ensure timely and accurate reports. Keep on an eye on competitor activity, market and industry trends
•    To act as a consultant with Local Distributor partners to maximise business opportunities 
•    To act as a consultant on best practices with end-users so as to solve customer problems
•    Make effective use of physical product demonstrations and presentations
•    Develop an extensive understanding, and knowledge of, key decision-making personnel in identified end-users
•    Adhere to agreed call cycles to service and maintain regular contact with key customers

Personal Attributes:

Essential & Mandatory at the level of the position to ensure the job is done effectively and efficiently
•    PGDBM or MBA degree and some relevant sales experience of about 7 years will be preferred
•    Experience of handling distributors and B2B customers especially on GeM along with other key segments like office building, FMC’s, HoReCa, Healthcare, etc
•    First-hand experience of business working on GeM

Desirable but Not essential but generally considered to be required to do the job proficiently
•    Experience / contacts with customers / distributors in Tier 2 cities of these regions
