Responsibilities

Draws up the master production schedule for assigned brands utilizing forecasted requirements in SAP, taking into account inventory and customer service goals/targets.
Support the development and implementation of new strategies relative to long range production schedules for assigned brands.
Works with supply planners to ensure supply of base Finished goods required to produce Special packs, pallets, and PDQ's.
Firms up demand in an MRP environment to ensure delivery of both finished goods and components match the expected ship date of the embellished product in Custom Manufacturing.
Reviews daily sales activity for assigned brands in all Logistics Centers (LCs) and adjusts short term production schedules to minimize risk of service issues.
Maintains JDE/SAP item level data or production configuration data to upkeep essential system information.
Places releases with supplies for components and raw materials against contracts set up by Corporate Purchasing. 
Follows the Logistic Center Quality Systems Procedures (QSPs), related SOPs, control plans and work instructions to maintain compliance with ISO requirements.
Manages FG and raw/packaging inventory levels to meet corporate, Logistic Center and individual goals.  Coordinates with LCs suppliers, and appropriate plant personnel to meet month end targets.  Recommends changes to procedures and work plans to improve overall management of inventory with objective of reducing inventory without increasing the risk of customer service issues.
Manages obsolescence for assigned brands to minimize the financial exposure to the business caused by a change to an existing product or discontinued product.
Supplies DRP as necessary to support the outbound shipping of finished goods by the  Logistics dept.  Communicates "hot" load information to all affected parties and Interfaces with the LCs to prioritize shipments.
Monitors, tracks and makes work order adjustments in the ERP system to ensure reporting of design configuration variance is accurate.  
Manages all EPD projects to ensure launches occur on schedule for assigned brands.  Participates in NPD projects to ensure the planning responsibilities are covered for new product launches. 
Actively supports and participates in the Logistic Center objectives to foster a self-managed team-based environment.

Qualifications
  • Must have a BS degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management or a related discipline.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience within a manufacturing environment.  Consumer Products experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be a team player with ability to work cross functionally and influence others.
  • Must have proven experience working with quality systems and related SOPs and work instructions.
  • Must have demonstrated project management skills and be able to multi task in a fast paced work environment.
  • Must have demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and numerical aptitude
  • Must have strong software skills in all MS office software such as excel, word and outlook in addition to strong skills using SAP systems.
