QA Analyst

Duties:

  • Maintain current, complete, legible, and accurate laboratory records in compliance with Good Laboratory and Regulatory Practices.
  • Communicate and interact with Planning, Purchasing, Production, Third Party Warehousing, Quality Assurance, and other Mead Johnson personnel, as well as Vendors to resolve quality issues and concerns.
  • Work at both in-house and outside warehouses to inspect packaging components, submit samples to the lab, work with the pre-shipment raw material program, placard inventory, reconcile quantities, and follow up with Vendors.
  • Interface routinely with the OPTIVA, GLIMS, and SAP computer systems. Example; GLIMS re-assay job creation and SAP/GLIMS job verification.
  • Paperwork processing for Just in Time materials.
  • Coordination of sample requests.
  • Inventory Classification Change Form (ICCF) investigations.
  • Placarding and segregation of non-conforming products.
  • Author and maintain methods, Standard Operation Procedures, and Work Instructions associated with the responsibilities of the position
  • Setup and coordination of annual warehouse sampling and receiving training programs.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of organizational skill.
  • Interact with other team-members and participate in and support team activities.
  • Must be able to use independent judgment and work well alone.
  • Back-up responsibilities for the team and cross-functionally as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • College-level courses with science background required. Bachelor’s or Associates Degree preferred, but similar work-related experience will be considered
  • Candidate must be flexible, organized, and self-motivated
  • Excellent administrative and communication skills
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, diverse environment
