Financial Analyst

Long Description


  • Monthly Management Reporting
  • Preparation of monthly commercial and management reports with quality commentary on a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide management support on all ad-hoc reports and analysis under demanding deadline.  
  • Ensure maximum usage of available reporting tools such as HFM, Fusion, Anaplan, etc to improve reporting efficiency.
  • Support the business in maintaining and updating the reporting tools in line with global changes.
  • Continuously strive to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the reporting requirements in line with the business needs by developing new value adding analysis and insights.
  • Manage month end allocations and cross charges between different business units.
  • Monitor monthly performance against plan and forecast, report on major variances and provide suggestion for improvement.

Planning and Forecasting 

  • Support on full P&L forecasting and analysis as part of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasting and planning process, including plan deck preparation.
  • Review all key financial parameters such as net revenue, cost of goods sold, gross margin, working capital, marketing investment, trade & consumer marketing spending ROI, commercial fixed costs, etc. with highlight on exception and suggestion for improvement.
  • Perform analytical review on COGS components, bridge analysis and productivity review.

Controlling and Monitoring

  • Maintains financial integrity by complying with company policies, SOP and internal controls procedures.
  • Net Working Capital forecast and tracking.  Suggest improvement initiatives to maximise working capital. 

Ad Hoc Business Advisory Support

  • Support management team in Business Reviews by gathering all financial data and prepare relevant presentation materials.


Qualification & Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accountancy from a recognized university.
  • Accredited member of an internationally recognised professional accounting organisation (CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in MNC with exposure in the field of management reporting / FP&A is preferred, candidate with experience in the FMCG and consumer healthcare industry will be advantageous.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Good knowledge in MS Office application, experience in SAP is preferred
