Demand Manager-IT Finance

Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

Roles and Responsibilities:

Portfolio/ Program level Planning 

  • Develop and maintain the integrated portfolio level plan, capture assumptions and identify dependencies for IT Demands.
  • Lead and maintain demand portfolio meeting cadence across pre- projects/ IT Demands.
  • Collating and maintaining IT Roadmaps for Finance process areas.
  • Lead Quarterly Roadmap review meetings.

Business Case & Financial Management

  • Support creation of business case by provide coaching and support to business lead.
  • Ensure that scope change and financial impacts are clearly understood, evaluated and controlled to ensure budgets approvals in place and IT operating model is followed.
  • Follow internal planning process to ensure that high level budgets are in place in Finance Functions in order to future projects to be executed.


  • Champion for IT operating model.
  • Identify common capabilities and opportunities for linking up, re-using and sharing of methods/resources between BRMs to ensure learning from experience is disseminated across the Portfolio/Program.
  • Establish and own the processes and standards for managing risks & issues.
  • Producing and collating reports on demand progress/discussion points to senior Finance and IT stakeholders and the steering committees, for example Global Finance IT Forum.

People/Change Culture/Stakeholder Management

  • Promoting strong leadership behaviors in all actions, acting in a transparent and appropriate manner in dealings with stakeholders and BRM team.
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
  • Empowering and inspiring others to deliver well scoped IT demands and holding each team in the project to account for their delivery.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with IT Director on Strategic Planning of IT program.
  • Provide support in arranging vendor engagements.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Project Management.
  • Proven experience in delivering significant IT or change management initiatives in Finance/Shared Services.
  • Excellent Power Point Presentation Skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Finance Areas (Corporate Finance, Shared Services, Reporting, Analytics, Automation.
  • Program and Project Management qualifications e.g. Prince2, PMI PMP or PMO Certification (P3O).
