Sales Finance Manager

Summary

 

  • You’ll be a key member of the country Finance Leadership Team with accountability for managing the Sales Finance Function of RB Indonesia ( Order to Cash Process, Credit Controls , Receivables Management, Trade Investments process, controls, Partnership with Sales/Trade Marketing teams on Investment proposals, Distributor health checks/audits, Return On Investments, Net Revenue Maximisation, Quarterly Operational Forecasts and Annual Business Plans related to In Market Sales, Gross to Net Revenues, Driving compliance with local and global commercial/trade.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with Senior commercial leaders of Hygiene Home Business Unit. Ability to clearly communicate the issues, risks, opportunities related to Sales Finance, Order to Cash.
  • Review net revenue and trade investments assessment for monthly financial closing, Ensure timely reporting of key information and data as per corporate reporting calendar
  • Monitors trade investments, fostering a mentality of “challenging the usual” when examining Trade Spend patterns and instil business manager behaviour / ROI culture and create P&L awareness across the organisation.
  • Analyses and interprets information on trade investment performance and report trade investment trends that need business attention including but not limited to Channel and Customer Profitability, Brand Trade Investment Analytics
  • Partner with Sales Director and Head of Trade Marketing for Management and optimization of trade spend targets, ensuring investment decisions are in line with business and growth objectives
  • Strengthen control in trade returns charge to trade spend bucket and perform sufficient checks to minimize the activities
  • Verify against trading term, to advise sales team for any missing term not created
  • Leads, develops, and manages Sales Finance team to ensure
    • Development and professional growth of team members
    • AR and Claim Administration team’s productivity/delivery to ensure continued business support
    • Right business controls with timely credit reviews and approval, timely collections
    • Enforce current trade investment management process and drive continuous improvements
    • Clear escalation of issues/challenges faced
    • Frequent and clear communication with the customer finance teams

 

Key Requirements

 

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in Finance and/or Accountancy from a recognized university
  • Accredited member of an internationally recognized CPA organization or MBA in Finance

 

Experience

  • At least 7 years working experience preferably with large blue chip consumer goods company/ international organizations
  • Self motivated leader able to work independently in large teams, motivate and coach junior colleagues, provide support in cross functional work groups
  • Knowledge of SAP will be added advantage
  • Exposure/working knowledge of ERP systems, Hyperion and Microsoft office (advanced level).
  • In depth understanding of respective Finance function processes.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and operations, particularly FMCG.
  • Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills
  • Energetic with excellent interpersonal & leadership skills, able to influence people of all levels
  • Ability to review and identify issues and opportunities in business processes
  • Able to cope under pressure and to deliver within tight reporting deadlines
  • Credible commercial and business awareness with strong interpersonal and communication skills
