Medical Sales Executive (Johor)

Summary of Responsibilities

Coverage: Batu Pahat, Segamat, Kluang & Johor Bahru

Based Location: Batu Pahat or Johor Bahru

 

  • Take responsibility for annual sales target. Carry out adequate ethical and operating plans, implement and take actions to meet company goals.
  • Measure progress against plans and communicate to manager. Work on achieving success stories, positive performance.
  • Manage internal and external communication.
  • Plan calls on all the assigned target audience at a frequency as spelt out in the itineraries so as to achieve effective coverage at the minimum cost and time required.
  • Follow and undertake all activities as instituted by the Management.
  • Make product presentations in a professional manner to the healthcare professionals or other decision makers in order to gain their support to the company's nutritional products.
  • Maintain at all times an up-to-date Doctors system and key in daily on the assigned target audience highlighting their prescribing pattern and other vital information relevant to the planning of promotional programs.
  • Ensure timely submission of all Reports, Acknowledgement Chits, itineraries, system, etc as instituted by the company.
  • Identify potential prescribers and develop them into regular supporters of our Company's Nutritional products.
  • Keep the management informed of all competitors' activities and other developments within the assigned territories which are likely to affect sales of the Company's products and the promotional programs of our company.
  • Ensure that all professional goods and promotional materials of the company are kept in good condition and accounted for.
  • Undertake special assignment from time to time as directed by the Management
     

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Science from recognized university, preferably with qualification in Nutrition/Dietitian.
  • In-depth knowledge of the medical business environment
  • Understanding of differences between districts
  • Knowledge in nutritional sciences and nutritional products
  • Successful nutritional sales experience at the territory, with at least 2 years’ experience in the field
  • Excellent customer relationship (HCPs, Medical Societies, Hospitals etc..)
  • Successful experience in conducting presentation to internal and/or external customers
  • Possess the ability to train internal and/or external customers on product and related sciences
