R&D Assistant (Contract)


As R&D Assistant:

  • Assume leadership for SSG projects in relevant categories, ensuring the implementation of NPDs/ EPDs at regional/ local level by ensuring all required formulation, feasibility work, analysis, validation, stability testing, industrial trials and dossier preparation are performed on time and to the required internal and external standards and market conditions.
  • Implement global product initiatives with R&D category development guidance and final approval.
  • Respond to consumer complaints and quality issues, competitor challenges and legal inquiries concerning technical matters relating to products marketed within region.
  • Provide support to supply for production start up, quality improvements and cost saving projects.
  • Collaborate closely with local marketing to provide technical expertise that supports marketing programs and to provide local business support.
  • Support other scientific services team and R&D categories by providing a clear difinition of products, marketing claims adn raw material requirements from a regional/ local perspective and by providing technical input and support in the preparation of the claim support data.
  • Act as a technical resources to help educate locl functions on technology and specific products within the category.
  • Maintain good communication with marketing, supply, R&D categories and shared service functions to accomplish objectives.

Key Challenges:

  • Work in health and safety manner.
  • Competence with all machining functioning and process.
  • competence to manage all machine problem remedy in a short time.
  • Working with minimum supervisor and good quality.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences:

1. Qualifications:

  • Degree in Checmistry/ Pharmacy/ Chemical Engineering or other relevant science.

2. Experiences:

  • Minimum 1 year expereience in manufacturing/ FMCG field or fresh graduate also encourage to apply.
  • Involved with projects management, priortization and problem solving skills is an advantages.
  • Basic formulation knowledge and understanding of chemical interactions.

3. Key Skills:

  • Basic negotiating and interpersonal skills to complete complex and high pressure projects.
  • Able to build a strong working relationships and having basic networking skills.
  • Basic negotiation skills, influencing and analytical skills.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, appetite for exploring new and previously uncharted territories.
  • Excellent communication skills both written adn oral in English adn excellent presentation skills.
