R&D Operations Assistant (Contract)

Focussing on well-known brands such as Lysol the role of R&D Operations team is to look after products that are on shelf in the market. Our aim is to protect sales, grow sales adn increase profit margins. We are the interface for building collaborative relations with Supply, Regulatory, Marketing and R&D Brands.

 

You''ll succeed because.....

 

You are a science graduate who has experience working in an industry and laboratory environment running trials, experiments and stability studies as well as supporting activities such as preparing dossiers and reports.

 

You're also able to communicate effectively with stakeholders from different fields. Independently minded, you've a healthy curiosity and will actively seek out additional information when you need it.

1. To Support R&D Category Groups

  • To work on local formula adaptations work with guidance from SSG Manager.
  • Carry out minor formulation changes (i.e RM substitution, cost saving) under guidance from SSG Manager and approval of the relevant R&D category groups.
  • Support sample seeding work.

2. To Support Manufacturing Plant

  • To lead industrial trials to qualify alternate raw materials for cost savings and monosourced reduction under guidance from SSG Manager and approval from the relevant R&D category groups.
  • Support Supply process Engineering to solve technical issues.
  • Support quality management and QA to solve quality issues.
  • Support Supply Packaging in implementation of alternative packaging materials, components or suppliers.

  • To lead industrial trials in order to support for production transfer and business continuity plan.
  • Identify opportunities for formula harminization, cost optimization to support teh realization of the GM improvement activities.
  • To comply to the standard safety requirements.

3. To Provide Support To Local Marketing and Commercial Team

  • To provide support to the innovation pipeline of local brands under guidance from SSG Manager.
  • Provide technical information, proof of claims and labelling with guidance from SSG Manager with cooperation from relevant R&D category groups, Legal, Local Regulatory and Local Marketing.
  • Liaison of activities with relevant R&D category groups, Legal dn Local Regulatory to address local competitors and authorities challenges. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Chemstry, Chemical Engineering or other related fields.
  • At least 1 year working experience in the related fields.
  • Able to work independently without close monitoring from the superior.
  • Good communicaiton and interpersonal skills.
  • Fresh graduate also encourage to apply.
