Digital Medical Marketing Manager

This role is responsible for driving success in the medical channel around our 21C consumer centric go to market strategy.   This position will be responsible for supporting the overall medical marketing channel strategy by leading digital execution and innovation that will aspire to drive our brands by supporting our HCP customer’s aspirations of best patient outcome while serving our consumers through the three pillars of C-ARE (solve, support and delight)  This exciting role will be a part of a digital leadership team that work to create an ecosystem of digital excellence that support our brands and channels to outperform our competition.

 Lastly, in order to create impact across the organization, the Digital  Medical Marketing Manager must be able to distill their launch strategies into a concise, project plans. The documentation will serve as a north star, providing key learnings and KPIs that will entice Senior Leadership and empower operation teams to launch the activations.

Planning & Monitoring
  • Drive digital innovation in the channel by working with the Medical Marketing team to translate business objectives and value into digital executions that create awareness and reach culminating in a brand choice from consumers through the influence of their HCP
  • Project manage new digital innovation that will drive new data profiles and work with vendors to create links from partners to our database
  • Support the Hospital team with digital expertise to drive value for our hospital customers that will secure our position and win new opportunities.
  • Work with Business Analytics to set the right suite of KPIs
  • Work with QA, supply and LEX to ensure compliance
  • Align with brand managers and Medial Marketing lead to gather requirements for implementation of medical channel-related digital activities
  • Participate in relevant brand planning and POA meetings, and contribute to the implementation and monitoring of medical channel activities
  • ​​​​​​​Take ownership of the medical website and app UI/UX to continue to keep them competitive and of high value to our HCP customers
Executional Support
  • Support the medical channel in developing digital assets and materials and other digital tools to support Sales Force detailing working with external 3rd parties, internal sales and creative agencies
  • Support implementation requirements of current and future digital strategy within the medical channel for all RB Health brands
  • Builds collaborative relationships with internal teams (sales, regulatory, market research, Digital, finance etc) to support the implementation of medical marketing plans
Medical Education Support
  • Support Medical Marketing Manager by taking the lead in transforming the practice to a more digital based execution

  • Project management – able to plan project objectives and break projects down into components to achieve project milestones toward completion
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute against assigned projects, deadlines and budgets with supervision on strategic prioritization
  • Partnership- Team player, able to build strong partnerships with cross-functional team-members, identifying resources and colleagues required to effectively push a project through to completion.  Effective at getting things done with others and following up on effectiveness of execution

  • Understanding of financial planning tools and ability to expertly navigate financial approval systems and platforms
  • Ability to communicate effectively to internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in to project support
    Digital knowledge in the application of UI/UX, innovation, database deployment and web/app channel management
Experience Required
  • Experience in working with marketing and commercial functions to translate business objectives into digital assets
  • Experience in project management, including successful leadership of end to end projects with multiple stakeholders; project management experience in a matrix environment, with accountability for results without direct authority
  • Experience with CMS, database, marketing cloud execution and journey development
  • Experience working within strict regulatory & legal environments.
  • Adept at MS Office applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
Education
  • University degree in Business or Science, MBA an asset
  • Scientific background is an asset
  • Digital foundation work across search/web/social/apps and mobile
  • Project management certification is an asset
