Focusing on the global licensed medicine portfolio, this role is ideal for a technically diligent individual who wishes to lead a small team of junior scientists across a high-profile business project.

You’ll love it because:
You will have full responsibility for managing the delivery of the R&D aspects of the programme – undertaking and reporting on product and portfolio risks, delivering scientific information in relation to our formulations, working with 3rd parties to implement suitable analytical techniques and supporting regulatory with the technical information for regulatory authority updates.
You’ll succeed because… 
You will have a minimum of (2:1) degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry) with experience in formulation and / or analytical chemistry and an interest in organic chemistry. You’ll be a self-starter, who is able to manage the day-to-day technical activities of the team to deliver a key business project. Your communication and strong project management skills will enable you to navigate all technical troubleshooting to ensure KPIs / deadlines are hit throughout the project. Experience of leading a small team and an understanding of risk management principles would be highly desirable.
