Statistician - Global Safety Assurance
Hull, East Yorkshire

As the Statistician within our Global Safety Assurance (GSA) department, you’ll be responsible for the oversight of the  application of statistical analysis of all aspects of the aspects of the Reckitt GSA activity including the  global signal management process, safety surveillance for medicines, medical devices, cosmetics and other Reckitt products.  You’ll interact with multiple functions across the GSA group, and input into various product development and maintenance projects on the utilisation of statistical data for benefit-risk and safety risk minimisation activities/optimisation strategies. The role also supports of the design of nonclinical studies, advises on data interpretation, and  provides statistical oversight and governance as required on such studies.

You will lead and drive the global signal management process implementation and signal data application for product safety core risk analysis, risk minimisation activity development and communication, as well as support signal detection systems deployment, maintenance, statistical data analysis protocols and training. The role will also include the support of the design of nonclinical studies, advise on data interpretation and provide statistical oversight and governance as required on such studies.

 
You’ll succeed because …
…. Qualified to at least bachelor’s degree or equivalent in statistics/mathematics or related discipline, preferably with an advanced qualification/experience in biostatistics and modelling, you’ll have:
-    Demonstrated ability to analyse and appraise complex statistical data and methodologies
-    Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex statistical data and models in a concise and accessible manner
-    Strong project management and organisational skills
-    Experience/expertise with statistical modelling for Data Analytical systems for AI/ML would be an advantage
