Senior Medical Marketing Manager

Summary of Responsibilities


•    To synergize with field operations sales force for collaborative effort in the implementation of continuing medical education programs.
•    Analyze customer needs to create and implement innovative programs to satisfy those needs consist with marketing strategies.
•    Participate in setting marketing strategies through the integrated Business Process or equivalent.
•    Actively involved in the development of medical sales plans for new product launches.
•    Provide HCP insights and analysis with solutions to sales management and marketing teams.
•    Create an impactful vision for the function and communicates a supporting strategy with clarity, force and impact to align people, critical resources, management and stakeholders.
•    Lead and coordinate research projects from initiation through completion.
•    Coordinate with Training Department of new services, tolls/capabilities and programs to the medical sales force.
•    Create new and innovative ways of doing things, demonstrates flexibility and lateral thinking abilities to adapt to a rapidly changing health care environment.
•    Negotiates for projects with the Malaysian MOH and Brunei MOH.
•    Negotiates for tie-up projects with Medical Bodies.
•    Disseminates information as sent by RMO/Evansville.
•    Proofreads / edits / comments / suggests on Marketing thematic campaigns.
•    Writes / proofreads / edits / comments articles for newsletters.
•    Monitors expenses on a monthly basis for the department to ensure the cost center is within the budget allocated for the year.
•    Works closely with demand and supply team in demand planning operations. 


Qualification & Expertise 

•    Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills plus strong rapport with key Pediatricians and O&Gs in Malaysia / Singapore. Knowledge of their behaviors and needs coupled with an understanding of the HCP influence on the behavior of the end user in the area of nutrition is essential.
•    Knowledge of financial principles and how to manage budgets.
•    Possess an aggressive and enthusiastic personality including strong leadership qualities with minimum supervision. Multi-tasking skills are essential.
