Senior Nutrition & Training Executive

Summary of Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement materials related to Nutrition and Health (OTC portfolio), consistent with marketing messages with input from Regional Trainer, local marketing team and the Medical Sales Team
  • Assess effectiveness of all training programs and materials through participants' evaluation and feedback to find out whether training objective is achieved.
  • Develop, implement and coordinates Medical Sales Training programs to ensure medical competency and consistency to enhance professional growth and development of the total medical sales team
  • Work closely with Medical Marketing, Brand team and Regulatory department on Nutritional and OTC claims permissible by local health authority
  • Organize, facilitate and partner with HR to develop, implement and enhance performance management, training and development programs to enhance quality of the Medical Sales team to drive business strategies
  • Ensure all training programs support the strategic objectives of the company
  • Oversee the planning and execution of sales training program to new representatives, to existing team, first line managers' "Train the Trainers' program and all new product launch training support
  • Help and collaborates with cross functional team (CRM, support functions) in the execution of basic and comprehensive nutrition and product training.
  • Keep abreast with market changing conditions, product and training approaches, to ensure that all activities reflect the actual needs of the target audience and maintain highest level of quality.
  • Empower team members to carry out various responsibilities ie creation of training materials, comparing own products with the competitors' products, provides them with support, guidance and feedback
  • Maintain strong relationships with HCPs and internal diverse functional departments
  • Plan and manage training cost center and spend within budget for the training and development for the entire Medical Sales force
  • Work together with Medical Sales Director and National /Sales Manager to identify required training programs
  • Training new hires in Medical Sales on the WHO code, local health Minister Nutrition's policies for marketing of infant formulas and Brunei Code of ethics.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Health Science from Universities accredited by MQA.
  • At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in the promotion of nutritional products or health (OTC) products to the healthcare professionals 
  • High initiative, must be a team player and process good inter-personal skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and written skill, self-confidence and able to present to large group of people
  • Customer service centric and possess good interpersonal and communication skills both written and spoken with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
  • Good understandings for the Malaysian Code of Ethics on the marketing and sales of infant formulas and the regulatory landscape of Malaysia and Brunei.
