Title: Project Engineering Associate Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  1. Expected to implement facility master plans for capacity expansion to meet future local and regional needs to be supplied by Philippine manufacturing plant.
  2. Expected to have of supply base for contractor services, benchmark construction costs.
  3. Unique ability for a view in managing long term needs. Must also be detailed, analytical to assure project expectations are clear and measurable for performance.
  4. Facilitate change through creative technical solutions that are grounded in a realistic assessment of what can be achieved.
  5. Require creativity in thought, problem solving, adherence to deadlines, financial commitments etc.
  6. Conducts through and careful analysis of data, gathers critical information, effectively allocates/reassesses required resources and delivers quality solutions to critical tasks.
  7. Develop detailed project plans, including major tasks, completion dates, and control points.
  8. Manage project completion to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost control.
  9. Develops and controls capital budgets for the production operations. Analyses budget variances and recommends corrective actions.
  10. Proactively participates in safety and health programs and assures the proper installation and maintenance of safety, environmental, and pollution control devices.

Educational Attainment & Other Requirements:

  1. A degree in any field of engineering, Preferably with Master Degree
  2. Experience with a multinational or large company in engineering, facilities planning, capacity expansion, and start-up of plant
  3. Possesses strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  4. Mastery of maintenance management techniques such as PM and predictive maintenance and building maintenance activities.
  5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and applicable codes.
  6. Understanding of all engineering fields to address mechanical, electrical, and basic structural problems.
  7. Understanding of financial management as it related to capital and expense spending and its impact to the customer’s departmental budget.
  8. Engineering qualification in at least one field.
