We are currently looking for Head of Regulatory Affairs Italy, Greece and Israel (BU Hygiene) to join Reckitt Hygiene Team in Milan, Italy.

The role will be responsible for Leading & Developing the Regulatory Affairs Team for Hygiene products in the cluster. 

 

Main tasks include: 

Ensure that all regulatory activities related to the development and launch of product innovation are delivered: providing local requirements in the cluster, input in regulatory strategies, deliver local registration, documentation and regulatory clearance of labels and commercials

Ensure maintenance and compliance of existing Hygiene products with local requirements during the product lifecycle

Lead and co-ordinate the resolution of regulatory and product safety issues

Provide regulatory support and consultancy to internal and external customers

Define and maintain departmental policies, guidelines and procedures

Day to day management of Regulatory department’s budget and resources

Participation in the development and implementation of best practices across the regulatory organization.

Be a source of proposition to improve our products and processes

Ensure Reckitt is correctly represented in relevant Trade Associations and manage regulatory intelligence in the cluster

Ensure that clear points of contact and representation for all Hygiene regulatory and Supervising Authorities are in place for routine enquiries and inspection
 

Requirements and soft skills:

  • Master degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmacy
  • More than 7 years in FMCG Reg. Affairs or R&D
  • Good understanding of the EU Chemical legislation 
  • Experienced with Licence Maintenance & Life Cycle Management
  • Experience in product registration and Quality Management
  • Experience with safety assessments of consumer goods
  • Deep understanding of Hygiene FMCG Regulatory landscape including product/substance registration
  • Italian and English Proficiency
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Can turn rules & legislations into procedures
  • Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills
  • Result-orientation and ownership
  • Capable of building strong working relationships and influencing stakeholders
