The NAM, reporting to the head of channel, will be responsible for driving the customer strategy regarding profit, margin growth, revenues and net working capital; he/she will be focused on developing a strategic partnership with the customer maximizing the commercial relationship. 
Main activities will be:
-Ensure achievement of business KPIs and goals, through the negotiation and management of the commercial agreements with the customer; 
-Meet sales objectives and targets (Net Revenue, Gross Margin, Net Working Capital, Trade Spend);
-Drive the right category mix within company portfolio in order to maximize customer profitability
-Closely working with Marketing and Trade Marketing to ensure the development and implementation of a Category Plan and a Trade Plan ad hoc on the customer, as well as an effective point-of-sales strategy;
-Develop and implement customer promo plans;
-Identify business opportunities in order to increase efficiency and profitability of our categories.

 

As Senior Trade Marketing Manager you will play a key role within the Sales team, driving excellence in 4P execution in key customers. The Sr TMM will lead the tailoring and implementation of category management strategies for the customer using shopper insights and understanding of customer specifics.
Main activities will be:
-    identify and implement Category Management projects with the local teams (shopper-based placement and assortment recommendations, promotions and pricing analysis)
-    providing customer and category analysis and strategic frame work to define the categories the key customer teams should focus on
-    providing customer insight to the Marketing team in order to better define our category and brand strategies
-    Management of operational 4P strategy for the portfolio
-    Proactive impact in building NPD local launch plot, from forward planning and presentation to follow up and proposed solutions on possible weaknesses on target achievement. 

 

Requirements & Personal Attributes:
Degree in Economics 
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales in a fast moving consumer goods company, managing important customers in terms of complexity and revenues responsibility (particularly Hypermarket, Supermarket, or Modern Trade).
Additional experiences within Marketing or Trade Marketing is considered a plus.
Fluency in Italian and English 
Analytical and problem solving skills 
Good negotiation skills
Capable of building strong working relationships and influencing customers/internal teams
Tenacity and resilience, must be able to respond robustly to pressure
Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
