The Role

The Associate Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the Retail Sales Team by driving execution of Shopper Marketing Events with our key Customers, from planning & development to execution and post promo analysis. Key areas of responsibility include planning & execution of events, budget management and post promotional analysis.  Position is focused on driving in-market activity that leads to improved sales / share. 

What you'll do


  • Manage development & execution of Shopper Marketing Activations across key Customers, per approved budget, working closely with KAMs as Customer contacts and Agencies for customized creative development
  • Must understand National 4Ps strategies and understand how these strategies are being amplified in-market by the Shopper Marketing activations

  • Lead creative development for initiatives with agencies & manage to aligned budget, leveraging approved creative templates 

  • Measures performance and impact of key Shopper Marketing initiatives, assisting the Business Analytics Team. Communicates results effectively across the business

  • Understands and applies Customer, Consumer and Industry insights using Nielsen, Customer POS and other market research data (U&As, Marketing Mix Model, Assortment studies)

How do you know you're a fit?


  • Minimum university educated (to Bachelors level) in a commercial subject 

  • 3+ years Direct Sales and/or Marketing experience, with cross functional exposure to other Business Operations preferred 

  • Knowledge of the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry 

  • Must have experience successfully managing a budget 

  • Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, and showcase the ability to independently conduct in-depth data analysis AND use the data to develop strong, persuasive selling stories

  • Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills 

  • Knowledge / understanding of Syndicated Data (Nielsen) & Customer POS data  

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to partner and to successfully multi-task 

  • Good interpersonal and time management skills. Must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
