You’ll succeed because…

•    You’ll drive scientific and medical advancement and knowledge within therapeutic area.
•    You’ll manage a team of medical scientists so as to ensure delivery of adequate product and project support including medical affairs and dossier writing
•    You’ll assist in the development, and drive execution of the medical and evidence strategies for assigned category area.
•    You’ll proactively support cross-functional team to deliver innovative consumer solutions; appropriate business opportunities to drive competitive advantage across the therapeutic area.
•    You’ll act as the product expert and develop in-depth understanding of the literature and current medical / professional opinion and best practice in the relevant category area.
•    You’ll support ideation, substantiation, and defence of claims, as well as challenges against competitors' claims.
•    You’ll act as a key contact with external experts and organisations for the relevant therapeutic area to drive the standard of care, this will include partnering with the relevant medical team in RB.
•    You’ll be a cross-functional stakeholder management on allocated projects
•    You’ll act as role model and coach to colleagues in medical affairs and wider cross-functional team
•    You’ll act with integrity and responsibility to deliver safe and effective consumer benefits in line with good medical and scientific practice.
•    You’ll conduct a fair-balanced assessment of efficacy and safety data and provide advice on the best approach to drive brand growth 
•    You’ll drive education and understanding of the literature, new clinical data and current medical opinion on category topics for RB products and competitors
•    You’ll independently represent the Medical Affairs team and act as medical expert for area in cross-functional project meetings
•    You’ll manage delivery and edit/review of Regulatory and Clinical Documents required for global RB product development and registration activities
•    You’ll manage internal and external responses, and quality of medical documentation 
•    You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts across multiple departments to ensure quality and technical accuracy of documentation
•    You’ll conduct systematic literature searches/reviews and prepare responses as necessary 
•    You’ll edit and proof reading of text written by other team members and providing constructive feedback
•    You’ll ensure that working documents and other appropriate documentation are updated and current

You will bring skills to the table. You will be:

•    MA/BS/BA degree in a related science 
•    Experience and/or proven track record of successful delivery of innovation/ category projects/ Operations 
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
•    Strong understanding of the product development process from concept ideation to launch.
•    Proven Project Management skills and supporting stakeholders 
•    Entrepreneurial, self-motivated individual with capability to evaluate and take risks
•    Ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change; you have a clear growth mindset 
•    Proactive mindset fitting with RB Compass  
•    Relationship Management experience: Understanding of confidentiality and experience executing contracts with 3rd parties
