Being part of RB Health, Mead Johnson Nutrition is a fast growing world leader in baby and infant nutrition that sells products to over 100 countries worldwide. In Nijmegen we have a state-of-the-art supply chain organization, where over 700 people work to nourish children to give them the best start in life. Our Nijmegen site produces semi-finished and finished products for markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America. In Europe the product range is mainly focused on infants with food allergies. Quality, reliability, innovation and ethics are very important in our organization. To expand our engineering team in Nijmegen we are currently looking for a:

Project Manager Engineering

The Engineering department is responsible for implementing innovative process improvements to secure future capabilities, productivity and compliancy of the Nijmegen production facility. Since a couple of years we have been facing major growth which requires a continuous developing Project Management Organization in order to manage these improvements successfully within a semi-pharma environment. In the position of Project Manager you will be responsible for the development, design and implementation of capital projects at the Nijmegen site.

You’ll: 

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams (simultaneously) to improve productivity, yields or plant prioirites and ensure safety awareness and compliance. 
  • Ensure that complex, business critical projects are delivered according to the required quality and performance standards. 
  • Develop and propose project, installation and qualification plans, budget and staffing of project teams to guarantee vertical startup according pre-defined criteria.
  • Align stakeholders regarding objectives and outcomes of several projects.


You’ll succeed because…
...you feel comfortable in a pace 24/7 organization in a dynamic environment. You've got at least a HTS degree and at least 5 years experience in managing and execution of multidisciplinary projects. You've got knowledge of project methodologies, liquid processing, spray drying, power handling/transport and packaging. You've got experience with executing and translating operational efficiency assessments into implementable business requirements and feasible solutions to optimize processes, technical solutions, methods and techniques. Experience in the food industry is a pre.
