You’ll enable the realization of EU Nutrition business strategy by contributing to the EU regulatory strategy plan. You’ll, amongst other:

  • As part of a team lead the EU Regulatory Policy function by supporting strategy development, staying on top of all relevant policy topics, connecting stakeholders, gathering policy intelligence and execute the regulatory strategic direction for the EU to achieve commercial objectives
  • Lead and coordinate with relevant internal expert stakeholders the development of RB’s viewpoints on EU policies and regulation change within cross-functional teams, communicate these viewpoints successfully, and help to shaping and influencing the regulatory environment via interactions with Authorities and Trade Associations.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge management and intelligence database systems, and produce analyses and interpretations as required
  • Evaluate impact and anticipate implications of important emerging regulatory requirements and policies on the commercial portfolio, projects or greater RB
  • As needed supports the successful product launch and communication campaigns of nutrition products for infants, young children and adults,  according to business objectives based on compositional compliance and compelling, compliant, substantiated on- and off- label messaging

 

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in regulatory activities in the infant food industry including involvement in the preparation and submission of applications for the evaluation of regulated products (e.g novel foods, additives, protein hydrolysates) . Experience in a general food company or other strong regulated industries will be considered. Relevant experience within a Member State of Health Authority would be an asset.
  • Bachelor or Master’s level of education in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Food Law or related Health Sciences
  • You have strong influencing and communication skills and the ability to take complex regulatory topics and communicate them to a varied audience.
  • Experience as a RA function within a Member State or Health Authority would be a great asset.
  • Also experience in/as a representative in an industry association is preferred.
