About the role

The main focus within IS at Reckitt Benckiser is to implement common business systems to deliver synergy, cost savings and drive the business forward. The Business Analyst is key to the delivery of these objectives.


Providing technical expertise and, where required leadership, to the business on projects involving assessment, design, development and implementation of business solutions. The Business Analyst works with other business partners(s) to define business application requirements, analyze them, define resulting application changes and develop cost/benefit comparisons. This includes consideration and compliance with Reckitt Benckiser standards and security implications.


The Business Analyst must be capable of working in multi-functional teams as the representative of the IS function. In this capacity, the Business Analyst will possess detailed knowledge of the technical aspects of a project but also an understanding of the broader business (especially its commercial/financial objectives).


Additionally, the role requires effective communication and team skills, the ability to formulate clear recommendations on technical issues and a drive to achieve within set timelines and objectives.

  • Role requires quantitative data analysis to rapidly prototype and implement data visualizations in an agile environment
  • Act as an evangelist to influence the adoption of data visualization best practices.
  • Create custom visualizations for communicating business use cases to individual stakeholders, management, and senior executives.
  • Perform system analysis, design, programming, testing, and documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze existing application systems. Recommend enhancements in technical function and business utility.
  • Assist business analysts and end users across all functional areas in identifying long-term, strategic data needs for the enterprise, defining how the data is related to the business processes and developing a conceptual and functional model of the data.
  • Maintain state of the art business and technological knowledge to enable the constant improvement of information systems.
  • Supervise the efforts of external programmer resources, if required..
  • Have a proven track record of creating powerful data analysis and visualization that inspires insight and change.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Five years of visualization design and development experience in large business or international environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience with PowerBI
  • At least 2 years’ experience of ETL tools is required preferable SQL Server 2005 (SSIS).
  • At least 3 years of experience of supporting and developing BI applications.
  • At least 1 year experience of developing OLAP applications preferably using Microsoft Analysis Services.
  • At least 2 year experience of development using Microsoft .NET framework preferred.
  • Knowledge of MDX preferred.
  • Good knowledge of SQL is a must.
  • Previous exposure to CRM and ERP applications (Siebel & SAP respectively) is preferred.
  • Previous exposure to development on Microsoft Sharepoint Server is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to interact clearly with business users to ensure that software solutions fill strategic business needs.
  • Willingness and ability to work with multifunctional teams both in country and across the world.
