Innovation Partnerships Manager, eCommerce

Position Description

Innovation Partnerships Manager (IPM) will be responsible for accelerating RB's disruptive capabilities to drive incremental growth in eBusiness portfolio. IPM will be at the forefront of RB's Digital Transformation; building collaborations with suitable external partners based on the key macro trends that are redefining the FMCG landscape. IPM will have the exciting opportunity to shape the long-term RB innovation strategy, leveraging new technology to create added value to RB's Powerbrands. This role will explore, evaluate, and manage any new partners that could add value to the RB portfolio. Partnerships & collaborations scope will include, but are not limited to: 
-    New/Disruptive Technology Vendors
-    Connected Devices & Smart Technology
-    AI
-    Data & Insights Partners
-    Acquisitions
-    Key Account Collaboration

An expertise and foresight of new technologies and vendors that are influencing the industry is critical to define value-add partners to the RB portfolio. A curiosity and ability to keep up to date with ever-changing tech landscape is crucial to this role, to ensure RB remain ahead of the curve of new consumer behaviors and trends. As well as technical acumen, a solid commercial nous is required to ensure new partnerships translate into profitable workstreams.
Innovation Partnerships Manager will work closely with Innovation Brand Managers & Sales function to establish key workstreams across Powerbrands. Within this collaboration, IPM will be responsible for developing solutions that have sustainable and scalable impact to the RB business.  

Key responsibilities include:
•    Identify key partners for RB innovation scope based on the key technology and macro trends that are impacting the industry.
•    Build strategic relationships with key partners that unlock disruptive capabilities into RB Innovation structure.
•    Support in development of long-term, sustainable disruptive innovation pipeline, leveraging external expertise to complement RB Powerbrands equity. 
•    Work with internal Innovation & Sales team to ensure partnerships are strong fit to brand purpose and strategy. 
•    Develop and maintain awareness/understanding of market, products, competitors and trends; demonstrate this knowledge when interacting with partners and internal teams. 
•    Export learnings on consistent basis to internal RB eBusiness team to establish best-in-class knowledge across the organization. 

Education & Experience:
•    5-10 years relevant experience in eCommerce and digital business development
•    Bachelor's Degree in related field
•    Strong commercial acumen
•    Effective leadership skills to build and develop teams
•    Effective presentation skills
•    Excellent communication and negotiation skills
•    Agile learner and collaborator
