The Informational Systems (IS) team at Reckitt implements common business systems to deliver synergy, cost savings and drive the business forward. The Business Analyst is key to the delivery of these objectives.
This role provides technical expertise and leadership to the business on projects involving assessment, design, development and implementation of business solutions. The Analyst works with other business partners(s) to define business application requirements, analyze them, define resulting application changes and develop cost/benefit comparisons. This includes consideration and compliance with Reckitt standards and security implications.
The Analyst must be capable of working in multi-functional teams as the representative of the IS function. In this capacity, the Analyst will possess detailed knowledge of the technical aspects of a project but also an understanding of the broader business (especially its commercial/financial objectives).
Additionally, the role requires effective communication and team skills, the ability to formulate clear recommendations on technical issues and a drive to achieve within set timelines and objectives.

  • Analyze quantitative data to rapidly prototype and implement data visualizations in an agile environment
  • Act as an evangelist to influence the adoption of data visualization best practices
  • Project manage as required
  • Work closely with the leadership team and Sales teams to understand their business intelligence and insights needs 
  • Design and conduct analyses and reports to provide insights at scale that support growth strategies 
  • Develop a formalized process to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, empower informed decision making for stakeholders 
  • Assist the Sales teams in developing methodologies/framework to accurately assess and measure impact of our business strategy 
  • Support targeted business activities, including opportunities for product and process improvement with a focus on driving significant business growth 
  • Isolate, identify and communicate data issues and own data quality for the analyses and reports produced 
  • Monitor and analyze data reports/dashboards/pipelines and do troubleshooting of issues that arise 
  • Demonstrate ability to synthesize data and focus on key, relevant business insights; effectively communicate insights and recommendations that contribute to the development of business driving strategies
  • Create models to understand how new business impacts existing channels and highlight the potential risk factors

  • Five years of data mining and insights experience in large business or international environment
  • At least 2 years of experience with PowerBI
  • At least 2 years’ experience of ETL tools is required, preferably SQL Server 2005 (SSIS)
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting and developing BI applications
  • At least 1 year experience developing OLAP applications, preferably using Microsoft Analysis Services
  • At least 2 years experience of development using Microsoft .NET framework preferred
  • Knowledge of MDX preferred
  • Good knowledge of SQL is a must
  • Previous exposure to CRM and ERP applications (Siebel & SAP respectively) is preferred
  • Previous exposure to development on Microsoft SharePoint Server is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially high-pressure environment
  • Ability to interact clearly with business users to ensure that software solutions fill strategic business needs
  • Willingness and ability to work with multifunctional teams both in country and across the world
