Specialty Channel Lead (US)

***Remote Role - can be based anywhere in the US close to a major airport**




  • Develop long term, value added relationships with senior level customers within the DME channel
  • Leads the U.S. DME go to market selling strategy and cross-functional account business planning for the targeted accounts in the U.S. and present strategies and tactics to improve volume, share and drive category growth
  • Collaborate closely with marketing on strategic planning and execution of DME specific growth initiatives and new product launches.
  • Leads team in the account goals and strategy process.  Analyzes volume shortfalls and develops immediate actions to recapture and grow volume.
  • Exhibits understanding of the alternate care channel including how products get ordered by HCP and move through distribution to end users and capitalizes on this understanding by designing and leading the execution of relevant strategies. 
  • Understand the Medicaid and private payor segment of pediatric nutrition products and action plans to enter this space with current MJN portfolio
  • Partner with Region Business Directors and Medical Sales Leadership team in the overall field execution of the targeted DME in each geography and on the execution plans and KPI for growth.
  • Engages team and partners at strategic points of decision marking to get buy in and mobilize resources to achieve desired results. 



•    Minimum 10 years relevant experience required specifically healthcare, alternate care space 
•    Prior management experience required
•    Sales experience in DME/HHC channel, preferred nutritional space
•    Experience with largest DMEs required. Successful experience with institutional distributors preferred 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills required as well as strong presentation skills
•    Experience negotiating business deals preferred 
•    Experience analyzing changing market dynamics and creating action plans to ensure all field based activities are optimized preferred 
•    Demonstrated ability to lead strategically and make critical business choices required 
•    Proven ability to work across functional boundaries in collaborating with key stakeholders required including VP Sales, legal, pricing, compliance, finance, and senior level leaders
•    Demonstrated success in leading a team and working cross functionally
•    Experience driving business processes and growing teams for best in class performance
