We’ll depend on you to keep things running like clockwork. A hands-on, technical role, you’ll have your own area of responsibility but be able to apply your skills anywhere. In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you’ll:

  • Maintain plant and machinery to a high standard - safe, reliable and efficient
  • Troubleshoot, find ways to improve the performance of equipment
  • Proactively schedule maintenance to maximise service levels

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Work in a team environment, support production equipment and personnel as needed in a safe and efficient manner. 
  • Responsible for the ordering of parts, procurement of quotes for equipment, and production modifications within prescribed budgets.
  • Continually plan, develop and complete equipment improvement projects focused on equipment capacity, quality and cost improvements.
  • Complete root cause analysis, in line with down time procedure to Identify and implement preventative solutions.
  • Support successful implementation of planned maintenance and new projects.
  • Support escalation process for line stoppages or breakdowns more than 15 mins or two consecutive hours of below target OEE.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in respect of safety, cGMP and quality systems
  • Plan for, establish, and perform preventative and predictive maintenance according to the schedule.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 3 years' experience or more as a Maintenance Mechanic- preferable in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in electrical, pneumatic, and machine tool operation
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair sophisticated electrical controls and mechanical systems
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Windows)
  • Excellent trouble-shooter and understand both the equipment function and the production process associated with the equipment.
  • Physically able to bend, twist, and llift 55 lbs
