Quality Technical Support Manager

 

The Quality Technical Manager is based in the Salt Lake City manufacturing facility providing Quality Technical Support activities for the site. This role is proactive role working with Project Engineers, the Strategic Programme Lead and the Technical team to provide Quality oversight of validation activity relating to facilities, introduction of new equipment, changes to current equipment, NPD / EPD and product transfers. Ultimately, this role helps ensure our customers can depend on the highest quality products. Along the way, you’ll:

Scope & Dimensions of Role
  • Provide quality oversight of validation activities ensuring quality requirements are met for introduction or changes to facilities, equipment, products and processes in Salt Lake City
  • Ensure that any risks to new and existing product developments are identified and communicated prior to introduction to the factories at minimum risk of non-compliance, rejection at time of manufacture or subsequent failure in market.
  • Facilitate the identification, communication and the ongoing removal of identified quality and compliance risks. Communication to Head of Quality, Site Operations Leads
  • Supports external regulatory and third-party customer audits received by the factories.
  • Coaching and training of cGMP best practice and quality problem solving tools.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Professional Qualifications

Degree in relevant science, minimum 5 years manufacturing experience.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Broad understanding of manufacturing operations business and quality management systems
  • Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic or Dietary supplement Manufacturing experience
  • Range of dosage form experience particularly solid dose dietary supplements.
  • Experience of Validation, training and auditing
  • CIP cleaning experience
  • QA systems audit experience is desirable with well-developed risk assessment skills
  • Strong technical knowledge
