Responsibilities
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety standards
  • Support immediate escalation of incidents and Quality issues/deviations with follow up investigation, root cause and "CAPA" completion
  • Ensure full compliance to training SOPs and OJTs
  • Responsible for line OEE and waste performance KPIs and continuous improvement
  • Lead escalation process for line stoppages and under target OEE
  • Manage OEE reporting process: ensure hourly updates on OEE tracking and review of shift reporting
  • Work with line teams to raise waste and OEE improvement opportunities
  • Ensure adherence to visual management and clear communication of KPI targets/performance
  • Escalate absence and lateness; support disciplinary policy as required
  • Drive team engagement
  • Support trials and intervention activities during shift in the area
  • Supervise Quality checking for trials and new products
Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years’ experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic MS Office Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Openness to change and ability to think out of the box
  • Entrepreneurial skills in terms of innovation and problem solving
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Remains calm under pressure

Preferred

  • AS or BS degree in related field
  • Knowledge of SAP and Quality systems
