The role of Global Trade Marketing Director is a key strategic position within its respective brand leadership team, helping the future of our brands and business growth. Reporting into the Global category director, this role will be accountable for setting the global brand trade strategy through insight and innovative thinking.

• Driving excellence in 4P execution across multiple markets for our power brands.
• Building expert knowledge and sharing this with markets through best practices and ensuring scale & consistent implementation.
• Develop the format/ channel and store back approach, to deliver the brand growth strategy in the key markets in which the brand is strategically important.

The GTMD will lead the development and execution of the Trade Marketing strategy and plans for different sets of markets globally and will also lead the development of scalable activation plans for the power brand across strategically important markets and channels – this role is omni focused and will cover both bricks and clicks based channels.
• Develop the 4P/3D guidelines across the key markets as part of the Brand Plan including model shelf layout, MSL & promo model for each relevant store format
• Identify Market/Shopper/Category trends and build them into the category vision and growth story.
• Understand and influence the customer drivers in brand forecasts that may impact our supply of products and brand P&Ls.
• Prepares the 4P/3D execution plans and Toolkits for NPD/EPD/BDI by store format (including digital channels) as per market launch recommendations for the new initiative
• Key contact for the Brand team with regards to all 4P activity
• Generate a full set of turnkey activation materials for each new initiative for all critical offline and online formats.
• Give a clear POS, Visibility & Display recommendation for the Brand by format/channel based on in-market learning.
• Partner with marketing & customer leads to ensure that customer requirements are aligned through product development phase.
• Identify best practice and ideas that can be scaled across the key markets.

• Ability to think on a strategic and operational level at the same time
• Proven success in driving business and category growth across national accounts, customers, trade marketing roles within the FMCG/CPG/F&B industries.
• Development and execution of effective 4P strategies based on Global Success Models and an understanding of customers, categories and consumers to maximize profitability
• Demonstrable experience leading the go to market strategy.
• Understanding and direct working experience with the North American market.
