Head of Marketplace Channel Lead Europe

eCommerce is the fastest growing area in FMCG with Amazon having developed into the world’s second largest retailer in a very short time and many others on similar paths. As these businesses create marketplace platforms, suppliers like ourselves need to rapidly adapt our business models and practices to ensure our brands still reach consumers in a way that creates a great experience for them. This role is to help us take the journey together with our customers and consumers. You would seek out best practice and share it with a community of eCommerce resources in countries, accelerate the understanding of eCommerce amongst those around you, develop strategies and learnings to create the future and play a key role in delivering the present.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define, design and deploy our GTM strategy for 3P Marketplace to Europe. This should be applicable for online outperformance whilst delivering the overall retailer goals.

- Create Area community for our Marketplace KAMs to share, learn & reapply learnings – specifically mentor key IMEX talent to help development needs.

- Upscale capability in IMEX through application of formula focus – delivering the Commercial, Performance Marketing & UX plans for our top 6 markets.

- Partner with key omni channel stakeholders to support the roll out of Marketplace with key retailers (i.e. Carrefour)

Experience Required:

- 7/8 years’ experience in lead EU/USA markets working with leading retailers in sales, marketing or ecommerce functions.

- Amazon commercial experience (ideally SKAM level) in Europe

- Consistent outperformance results in previous results & exhibits high levels of entrepreneurship and ownership

- Wecommerce mindset – winning to learn, adapt and deliver ecommerce Vision in an inclusive way.

- Team Player with developed influencing and partnership skills
