Legal Counsel

Joining our team as a Legal Counsel, you will assist Area Legal Director of Europe and ANZ Hygiene in supporting the international discounters , buying alliances, cross country digital and e-com activities across the entire range of legal matters. 

 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

assisting on various commercial legal matters, including commenting and amending distribution agreements, procurement arrangements, purchase and sales agreements and confidentiality agreements.
•    Support all cross border  Marketing related tasks like coordination and centralization of multi country artworks for different discounter, e-com, fast innovation projects, TV copies, claims and competitions.
•    Support of building and improving of Europe & ANZ legal knowledge database and information exchange
•    Support and assist with the day to day running of the legal department and deal with ad hoc enquiries from the Area Legal director;
•    Liaise with Global Marketing {CDO} and markets on different projects of NPDs or fast innovation projects 
•    Assist with defining common processes and procedures across Europe and ANZ;
•    Supporting on regional data gatherings and presentations;
•    Assisting with some  Data privacy tasks 
•    Perform research on legal questions as required and provide succinct conclusions and advice on the way forward
•    Be responsible for maintaining different trackers 

Qualifications:
•    Dual Language  (English/French or English/German) would be high advantage
•    Qualified in any of EU countries or UK and up to 2 years of practice  or Graduate and 4 years of legal practice.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to manage workload and identify priority tasks to meet deadlines.
•    Ability to challenge the status quo and propose improvement whilst maintaining legal requirements
•    Computer skills (particularly experience in using excel / power point)
•    As the majority of the work will revolve around supporting the marketing and sales functions, previous studies / experience in advertising and competition law is desirable
•    In House experience and/or FMCG exposure an advantage.
