Digital Analytics Manager

As part of our exciting new Digital Studio function the Data Analytics Lead will join a team of Digital marketing specialists – bringing new capabilities to RB in delivering excellent consumer experiences in digital spaces and better marketing communications.

You will be central to the continuous improvement of our consumers’ online journeys when interacting with our brands in online spaces.Together with our marketing function and team of digital specialists, you’ll lead digital data tracking within the marketing function and support the department with web and digital marketing optimisation across multiple brands and websites for the UK market.

From technical and functional specifications through to technical implementation you will improve and manage our tracking, reporting, and ongoing holistic pixel and tag management.The ideal candidate will be well organised, creative and confident engaging with stakeholders both internal and external (e.g. agency partners and brand marketing teams).


  • Implement and customize web analytics and website optimisation tools based on business needs, specifically: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Segment and tracking codes from online media vendors, such as Google Marketing Platform, Facebook, and others.
  • Setup and support the business in understanding success of website and digital marketing campaign performance – including tracking implementation, optimization, testing, reporting and continuous improvement recommendations
  • Lead pixel implementation and incorporate pixel audit suggestions for user acquisition efforts
  • Managing and tracking implementations across technologies
  • Analyse website data and provide insights on customer behaviour on-site
  • Build out site reporting, monitoring and alerting
  • Develop and implement tracking needs to support A/B and MVT testing leveraging tools such as Google Optimise
  • Develop a data quality metrics framework which includes dashboard/scorecard, and monitoring (alerts/triggers)

Preferred experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Certification or degree in computer science, a plus.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Expert at Google Analytics
  • Experience in Google Tag Manager
  • Skilled in data analysis and report building using reporting tools (experience with Data Studio and Power BI preferred)
  • Experience with testing and optimization platforms (Ideally Google Optimise)
  • Understanding of the principles of website performance improvement and conversion rate optimisation
  • Proficient knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) and Document Object Model (DOM) manipulation
  • Experience with web development technology and content management systems
  • Self-starter and able to work well with individuals at all levels and across functions
  • Experience in managing technical system implementations
  • Passionate about data and detailed accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills coupled with highly effective communications
