R&D Operations Associate, Health

We have an exciting opportunity for a R&D Operations Associate to join our team. This role will be on a 6 months fixed-term contract. 

Primarily, this person will be responsible for managing the technical support for new business development. In particular, 3rd party licensing projects, covering all aspects of R&D and document preparation, in readiness for launch.

Your role will include but not be limited to: 

•    Lead various type of projects from regulatory compliance or manufacturing site transfer; to formulation rework and TV copy. Ensure all required formulation, feasibility work, analysis, validation, stability testing, industrial trials and dossier preparation are performed on time and to the required internal and external standards and market conditions.
•    Implement global product initiatives with R&D Innovations and other R&D Operations teams. 
•    Collaborate with local commercial organizations in relation to consumer complaints, quality issues, competitor challenges and legal / regulatory inquiries concerning technical matters relating to products marketed within the region.
•    Work closely with our Marketing teams both locally here in ANZ & the wider region, to provide technical expertise and required business support to evaluation (Portfolio Management) and execution of commercial initiatives and projects.
•    Partner closely with our Supply function regarding technology and product expertise, for production start-up, quality improvements and cost savings projects.
•    Support R&D teams by providing a clear definition of products, marketing claims and raw material requirements from a regional/local perspective and by providing technical input and support in the preparation of the claim support data.

 

You’ll succeed because…
… you have a strong, demonstrable background within a technical support or commercial laboratory environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry. You understand and have strong knowledge of microbiological terminology and environmental organisms; as well as relevant legislation e.g. SUSDP, TGA and NICNAS regulations. Project Management is a strength of yours…You are great at building strong relationships, not only within your team but also cross functionally, both locally and globally! Ideally, you have Experience with GMP manufacturing processes for Pharmaceutical/FMCG products and are familiar with aerosol, powder and liquid product technologies; as well as understanding good laboratory practices.
