With complete involvement from the first day, you’ll be fully included as part our team – bringing household name products to millions of customers worldwide. You’ll take responsibility for projects from the outset, gaining new skills and experience. Projects will vary but may be within planning, service delivery, manufacturing or logistics. The focus will be on ‘learning through doing’ but with the support and mentoring of our experienced team.

The opportunity to develop your thesis in partnership with RB, focusing on the validation of a new Spectroscope FT-IR. 
Your thesis will be developed during a 12-month-long paid internship.

You are a Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Chemistry Engineering student enrolled in your last year of university looking for a great opportunity to develop your thesis. 
You have:
•    Strong knowledge in chemical analysis and spectroscopy techniques;
•    English proficiency, both written and spoken; 
•    Microsoft Office proficiency, with particular reference to Excel;
•    Knowledge of Minitab (preferred);
•    Basic Knowledge of SAP (preferred).

Your main activities will include:
•    Support the validation of new FT-IR;
•    Prepare samples/micro batches of our current formulations;
•    Perform several manual titrations and FT-IR analysis and use these data to create a data base for each formulation (calibration curve per formula);
•    Analyze raw materials as part of validation of new equipment;
•    Create a validation protocol with detailed validation plan and update internal SOPs;
•    Support in the training plan for operators (how to use the new equipment and software);
•    Create a validation report, summarizing all results obtained.
